Meet the founder

Monique Shields CEO Executive Allure
Monique Shields is the Founder and CEO of Executive Allure, a boutique consultancy built from a deep passion for helping leaders bring their vision to life. She works side by side with executives, founders, and purpose-driven professionals who are doing meaningful work but don’t always have the time, team, or capacity to make it all happen. That is where she comes in, as a trusted partner who brings clarity, structure, and a steady hand to the process.

Monique has spent more than 30 years behind the scenes, helping shape the kinds of experiences that move people, build trust, and elevate bold ideas. She has served as a strategic partner to leaders at companies including Verizon, Starbucks, Nordstrom, CenturyLink, and the Greater Tacoma Community Foundation. Across every industry and room, her approach remains the same: thoughtful, high touch, and grounded in purpose.

In every space she supported, Monique noticed a recurring theme. Visionary leaders with powerful ideas often lacked the internal capacity to bring them to life at the level they deserved. She founded Executive Allure to close that gap. Not just to manage logistics, but to create space for leaders to operate with clarity, confidence, and purpose.

She founded Executive Allure to create more than just events. She creates intentional moments where leadership, purpose, and vision align. Whether it is a strategic retreat, an investor gathering, or a launch experience, Monique leads with care and precision so her clients can lead with presence and peace of mind.
What drives her most is collaboration. Monique shines a light on powerful work that deserves to be seen, especially by Black-owned and women-led businesses, foundations, and changemakers whose impact ripples far beyond the room. She believes in creating space for leaders to be bold, visionary, and supported.

Her work is also deeply personal. Monique became involved with the American Heart Association in 2019, using her voice to raise awareness about cardiovascular disease and maternal health in communities of color. That mission became even more meaningful after losing her mother unexpectedly in 2024 to cardiovascular disease. Today, she continues that advocacy in her mother’s honor, helping others access the education, support, and visibility that saves lives.

At her core, Monique believes that when the right support is in place, anything is possible. Executive Allure exists to be that support, offering the kind of high touch partnership that turns vision into lasting experience.

Community, advocacy & impact

At Executive Allure, community is part of our foundation, and our commitment to causes like heart health has been ongoing since 2019 when Monique Shields began volunteering with the American Heart Association. That mission became even more personal after losing her mother to heart failure in 2024, and we continue to support movements that reflect our values through strategic partnership, advocacy, and visibility.
